New poetry collection by Cristina Navazo-Eguía Newton, Straid Award 2012, Templar Poetry.

Cry Wolf mines for sustenance in the contradiction of all art: digging out facts with a shovelful of fiction thrown in to stop the hole from subsidence. Fiction fills the gaps of what we don’t know but can imagine from the common ground of existence, magnifying the view beyond the speck of the particular.

Thanks are due to the editors of publications where some of the poems first appeared: PN Review, Poetry London, Southword, Assent, Aesthetica, Commonhead, and others.
